ЦУМ Київ розпочинає весняний сезон і продовжує популяризацію сучасного українського мистецтва та підтримку молодих українських художників.

Настрій передчуття весни, переходу від зимового спокою до пори пробудження креативна команда універмагу створювала у вітринах ЦУМу разом із талановитим львівським художником Олесем Дерегою.

Я надихався людським тілом та паперовою скульптурою — оригамі. Словосполучення «паперова скульптура» несе в собі як вразливість, так і монументальність та стійкість. Вона легка, але водночас сильна. Тендітна — і водночас впевнена. Ця дуальність емоцій коливається, як маятник. Це ті крихкість і тендітність, які в нас є від народження, і стійкість, яку ми набули.

Олесь Дерега

Весна — час легкості, переродження, звільнення від зайвого. У вітринах можна побачити нашарування силуетів, певні деталі стають прозорішими, ніби відходять у минуле, залишаючи по собі лише блідий слід. А дещо, навпаки, стає інтенсивнішим, виривається на передній план. Це як безперервний процес перетворень і набуття ідентичності, особливо відчутний навесні.
