Греческие журналисты проводят сегодня 24-часовую забастовку, выступая против планов правительства по реформированию системы страхования и пенсионной реформы.

Забастовка представителей СМИ проходит в рамках всеобщей забастовки, объявленной крупнейшими профсоюзами страны - Высшим советом профсоюза госсектора и Всеобщей конфедерацией труда Греции, передает Укринформ

«Сектор средств массовой информации будет бастовать с 6:00 среды до 6:00 утра четверга, так они смогут обеспечить освещение всеобщей забастовки, которая начнется в четверг», - сообщили организаторы мероприятия.

СМИ требуют сохранения Фонда страхования издателей, редакторов и работников печати в качестве независимого фонда средств массовой информации с участием в нем всех категорий работников отрасли.

Согласно решенияю совета Греческой федерации журналистов, в забастовке примут участие все государственные и частные СМИ - газеты, телеканалы, радио. Также к акции протеста присоединились технические работники СМИ.

Как известно, в общегреческой 48-часовой забастовке, которая начнется утром в четверг и продлится до утра субботы, также примут участие адвокаты, нотариусы, водители грузовиков, врачи, фармацевты. Водители общественного тарнспорта бастовали 2 февраля.
