Редакційний колектив британського видання Financial Times планує розпочати 24-годинний страйк у зв’язку з недотриманням керівництва зобов’язань по пенсіях.

Якщо страйк відбудеться, він буде першим цілодобовим протестом журналістів FT за останні 30 років, повідомляє Національна спілка журналістів Великобританії.

«Беручи до уваги глухий кут в переговорах, ми підтримуємо позицію НСЖ розпочати страйк на захист нашої спільної мети для того, щоб в FT почали виконувати свої зобов'язання щодо справедливих та еквівалентних умов для всіх після продажу Nikkei», - йдеться в повідомленні.

Журналісти хочуть вийти з протестом проти того, що керівництво видання не виконало свої зобов'язання по пенсіях після продажу газети японському медіа-холдингу Nikkei.

Як повідомили у спілці журналістів Великобританії, страйк відбудеться наступного тижня, конкретний день поки не визначено.
