Канцлер Германии Ангела Меркель, которую американский журнал Time в течение последних трех лет относил к влиятельным лицам в политике, в этом году вообще не вошла в список топ-100.  Об этом сообщает немецкое издание Die Welt.

Die Welt вспоминает, что в ноябре прошлого года после победы Дональда Трампа на выборах, Time выражал надежду, что именно Меркель станет "лидером свободного мира".

"Но, пожалуй, канцлер Германии теперь потеряла свои чары над американским журналом Меркель не попала в список 100 самых влиятельных людей в мире. Вместо этого, мы находим несколько человек с весьма сомнительной поведением последнее время", - сообщает издание с намеком на президента Филиппин, лидера КНДР и президента Турции.

Сообщается, что даже издание Bild-Zeitung сделало запрос в редакцию журнала по поводу исключения Меркель из списка топ-100 самых влиятельных людей, однако на данный момент не было никаких комментариев.

Отметим, что в список Time попали такие личности: президент США Дональд Трамп, глава Пентагона Джеймс Маттис, основатель Wikileaks Джулиан Ассанж, Папа Франциск, президент Турции Тайип Эрдоган, лидер КНДР Ким Чен Ын, премьер Великобритании Тереза ​​Мэй, президент РФ Владимир Путин президент Китая Си Цзиньпин и другие.

Ранее сообщалось, что Ангела Меркель обращалась за помощью к британским спецслужбам в обход собственных.
