У хорватському парламенті, Саборі, під час обговорення позбавлення імунітету двох депутатів сталася бійка. Потім двох опозиціонерів - Івана Пернара і Івана Синчича - винесли на руках із зали.

 

Підставою для застосування сили стала бурхлива дискусія в парламенті, в ході якої Пернар не прислухався до вимог голови законодавчих зборів замовкнути і залишити залу. Райнер перервав засідання і на правах спікера Сабору зажадав, щоб служба безпеки виставила опонента примусово за порушення порядку.
 
"Я сам звідси не піду, це - фашизм, ви виганяєте інакомислячих депутатів! Це ваша демократія, це ваш ХДС і його політика Євросоюзу і прав людини, за які виступає прем'єр Пленкович?!" - кричав Пернар.

Іван Пернар відомий своєю жорсткою опозицією до НАТО, також він неодноразово висловлював проросійську і антинатовську позицію.
