З 2004 року кількість таких запитів від користувачів збільшилося більше ніж на 140%, порахували в компанії. «Більшість з цих запитів орієнтовані на те, щоб щось “полагодити” - лампочку, вікно, пральну машину або навіть унітаз. Фактично “Як полагодити…” з року в рік знаходиться в топі найпопулярніших запитів по всьому світу», - розповів редактор Google News Саймон Роджерс (Simon Rogers).

Побутові предмети та техніка, яку люди з різних країн найчастіше хочуть полагодити самостійно. Інфографіка створена на основі пошукових запитів у Google.

Компанія також запустила окремий сайт, присвячений аналітиці пошукових запитів «How to». Згідно з даними Google, у США користувачі найчастіше шукали інструкції про те, як полагодити двері, вікна, туалет, пральні машинки й холодильники. Водночас у Японії популярність таких запитів трохи інакша. Японських користувачів найбільше цікавить як полагодити вікна і вже потім інші предмети - двері, пральні машинки й туалети. Українці ж найбільше цікавляться тим, як полагодити пральну машинку, двері, вікна й туалети.

Загалом у світі топ-10 запитів, які починаються зі слів «How to», виглядає так:
