Дональд Трамп зробив гучну заяву після новин про перемогу його конкурента Джо Байдена на виборах президента США. Прогнозовано, республіканець не згоден мирно передати владу опоненту. Офіційна заява з’явилася на сайті штабу Трампа.

“Ми всі знаємо, чому Джо Байден поспішає помилково оголошувати себе переможцем, і чому його союзники із засобів масової інформації так стараються йому допомогти: вони не хочуть, щоб істина була викрита. Простий факт, що ці вибори далеко не закінчені”, – сказав Трамп.

Політик зазначив, що планує оскаржувати результати у деяких штатах, де були зафіксовані порушення. За його словами, переможця повинні назвати на основі легальних голосів, а не прогнозів ЗМІ.

Трамп анонсував, що з понеділка його кампанія розпочне у суді відстоювати “право американців на чесні вибори”. Він звинуватив свого опонента у фальсифікаціях та перешкоджанні чесному підрахунку голосів.

“То що ж Байден приховує? Я не заспокоюся, доки американський народ не отримає чесного підрахунку голосів, якого він заслуговує, і чого вимагає демократія”, – сказав Трамп.

До слова, у своєму Twitter Трамп традиційно прокоментував перемогу Байдена. Твіт вийшов емоційним.

“Я виграв ці вибори, з великим відривом”, – написав Трамп.
