"Википедия" не будет удалять со своего сайта статью с информацией о способах приготовления наркотика, из-за которой Роскомнадзор может заблокировать весь ресурс, заявил РИА Новости исполнительный директор НП "Викимедиа РУ" Станислав Козловский.

"Википедия" — это универсальная энциклопедия, вся информация берется со ссылкой на разные источники. В этой статье вся информация взята с сайта ООН, все источники академические. Мы обсудили эту ситуацию, и статью решено оставить", — сказал Козловский.

Отвечая на вопрос, готова ли компания идти на риск блокировки всей "Википедии" на территории РФ, Козловский сказал: "Мы готовы с 2012 года, когда был принят закон".

"Смысл "Википедии" — собирать знания и передавать их людям… Если Роскомнадзор считает, что людям знания не нужны…", — отметил он.

В случае отказа от удаления этих данных ресурс может быть внесен в реестр запрещенной информации. При этом, поскольку по решению администраторов "Википедии" интернет-ресурс функционирует на основе протокола HTTPS, не допускающего ограничений доступа к отдельным страницам, заблокированным окажется весь ресурс.
