У Німеччині позиваються проти Facebook через поширення компанією користувальницьких даних.

Німецькі користувачі позиваються в суді проти компанії Facebook через меседжер WhatsApp, який зберігає особисту інформацію користувачів і ділиться нею навмання, передає ZD Net.

Як відомо, саме компанії Facebook належить популярний меседжер. У серпні минулого року був вперше виявлений факт поширення меседжером даних про користувачів без їхнього відома.
 
Відомо, що додаток функціонує разом з офіційним акаунтом у Facebook, а тому обробляє одночасно дані з профілю користувача і, зокрема, має доступ до користувальницького номера телефону і базової інформації про користувача - прізвища з іменем, дати його народження тощо.
 
Як вважають експерти, подібно до цього в соцмережі Facebook з'являється інформація і про друзів зі списку контактів особи, що користується цим меседжером. Німецькі користувачі, виявивши факт розкриття особистих даних, сконтактували з Федерацією споживчих організацій - у результаті від її імені до суду було подано позов.
 
У позові федерація наполягає на тому, щоб обмін особистою інформацією у Facebook був заборонений, а ті дані, які вже були оприлюднені без згоди користувачів, компанія видалила.
 
У той же час представники WhatsApp заявляють, що таке розкриття користувальницьких даних передбачене в прописаній для користувачів угоді.
