Шотландская национальная партия (SNP) утверждает, что одержала победу на местных выборах в парламент Шотландии, сообщает Европейская правда.

Это третья подряд победа на выборах шотландских националистов, выступающих за выход из состава Великобритании. Лидер партии Никола Стерджен заявила своим сторонникам: "Мы сотворили историю".

При этом, вероятно, SNP не удастся получить достаточно мест, чтобы сформировать правительство большинства, и, возможно, придется заключить соглашение с другой партией для получения абсолютного большинства.

Второе место на выборах в Шотландии могут занять шотландские консерваторы, а третье - Лейбористская партия.
