Второй тур внутрипартийных выборов председателя крупнейшей оппозиционной партии Греции — консервативной "Новой демократии" — прошел при высокой явке избирателей.

На избирательные участки пришли 350 тысяч сторонников партии, сообщил РИА Новости источник, знакомый с первыми данными подсчета голосов.

Во втором туре могли голосовать лишь те, кто заплатил регистрационный взнос 3 евро и проголосовал в первом туре 20 декабря. Тогда на участки пришли 404 тысячи избирателей.

Во второй тур внутрипартийных выборов вышли бывший председатель парламента Вангелис Меймаракис и представитель известной семьи политиков Кириакос Мицотакис.
