ВВС Ирака сбросили тысячи листовок на Мосул вечером в субботу, 15 октября, чтобы предупредить жителей города готовящемся наступлении. Об этом сообщает телеканал CNN.

"Время победы", - написано на листовках, выполненных в газетном стиле. "Время прославить чистый Ирак без ИГИЛ или любой темной веры", - приводятся в тексте слова слова премьер-министра Ирака Хайдера аль-Абади.

Четырех страничные листовки рассказывают жителям о том, что силы коалиции продвигаются ко второму по величине в Ираке городу. Жителей просят держаться подальше от определенных частей города и избегать позиций ИГИЛ.
