Відомий в усьому світі файлообмінник RapidShare оголосив про своє закриття. У офіційному зверненні на сайті користувачів закликали зберегти всі необхідні файли, адже сервіс припинить свою роботу 31 березня 2015 року,повідомляє ТСН

"Будь-ласка, зверніть увагу, що RapidShare припинить свою діяльність 31 березня 2015 року", - йдеться у листі до клієнтів. 

RapidShare було засновано у 2002 році і кожного місяця на нього заходили сотні мільйонів користувачів. Але судова тяганина щодо авторських прав, яка почалася з 2007 року, знищила популярність відомого ресурсу.

Спроба оновити файлообмінник у 2012 не дала результатів. І вже у 2013 році керівництво було змушено звільнити 75% всіх працівників RapidShare.
