Верховна Рада ухвалила за основу проект закону про внесення змін до деяких законодавчих актів щодо забезпечення прозорості інформації про власників ЗМІ, передає кореспондент УНН.

За відповідне рішення проголосували 240 народних депутатів. Відповідним законопроектом пропонується зобов'язати ЗМІ розкривати інформацію про кінцевих бенефіціарних власників.

Також пропонується надати Національній раді України з питань телебачення і радіомовлення право запитувати додаткову інформацію о структуру власності та кінцевих бенефіціарів ЗМІ.

Також законопроектом визначається, що в Україні забороняється брати участь в телерадіоорганізаціях органам державної влади та органам місцевого самоврядування, а також юридичним особам, які вони заснували. Крім того, юридичним та фізичним особам, які зареєстровані в офшорах, а також особам без громадянства.

Нагадаємо, 8 червня Президент України Петро Порошенко підписав Закон "Про внесення змін до деяких законодавчих актів України щодо посилення гарантій законної професійної діяльності журналістів".
