Голова Верховної Ради Володимир Гройсман 22 вересня заявив про необхідність створити прес-центр законодавчого органу, а 25 вересня уже підписав відповідне розпорядження «Про утворення прес-центру Верховної Ради». Про це «Телекритиці» стало відомо з власних джерел в апараті Верховної Ради.

У розпорядженні, зокрема, йдеться, що з метою покращення умов роботи журналістів та представників засобів масової інформації у висвітленні діяльності Верховної Ради України прес-центр парламенту буде створено на третьому поверсі будинку Верховної Ради (м. Київ, Грушевського, 5). Також апарату парламенту доручено здійснити заходи щодо матеріально-технічного, кадрового, інформаційно-технологічного та іншого забезпечення створення прес-центру.
