Турецька влада встановила заборону на публікацію у ЗМІ будь-якої інформації про вибух у Стамбулі.

Ця заборона поширюється на всі види новин, включаючи інтерв'ю та критичні публікації у пресі, на радіо, телебаченні, в соцмережах та інтернет-ЗМІ.

Дане рішення набуло чинності негайно, про нього повідомили всі ЗМІ країни.

Як повідомлялось, вибух в самому популярному туристичному районі міста стався вранці у вівторок. За даними влади міста, його жертвами стали щонайменше 10 людей. Причина події поки невідомі, при цьому в ЗМІ з'являлася інформація про підрив терориста-смертника.

Вибух стався біля обеліска Феодосія. У цей момент поруч з місцем події перебувала група туристів, у тому числі іноземці. За попередніми даними, поранення отримали 15 осіб. В числі поранених опинилися громадяни Німеччини, Норвегії та Перу.

Зараз місце події оточене. До площі стягнуті сили поліції і медичні бригади.

Район Султанахмет є одним з найпопулярніших туристичних місць Стамбула. У ньому знаходяться такі пам'ятки, як собор Святої Софії і Блакитна мечеть.
