Вірус-вимагач Petya, що вже вразив комп'ютери підприємств та урядових структур Європи і США, дістався до Азії. Про це інформує агентство Bloomberg.

Так, кібератаки зазнала система управління вантажопотоком найбільшого в Індії контейнерного порту імені Джавахарлала Неру. Про це повідомили у Міністерстві транспорту країни.

Ймовірно, вірус також починає поширюватися в Китаї, проте випадків масштабних збоїв виявлено не було, сказав головний фахівець із захисту інформації Qihoo 360 Technology Co, Чжен Веньбінь.

Експерти вважають, що шкідлива програма використовує ті ж уразливості, що і вірус WannaCry, що вивів з ладу тисячі серверів по всьому світу минулого місяця.

Раніше повідомлялося, що вірус Petya.A, який блокує роботу комп'ютерів і вимагає у користувачів заплатити викуп, атакував другого за величиною виробника ліків у США компанію Merck.

Нагадаємо, що 27 червня українські установи також стали жертвами масштабної кібератаки, здійсненої за допомогою вірусу Petya.A.

Хакерські атаки були націлені на об'єкти критичної інформаційної інфраструктури енергогенеруючих і енергопостачальних компаній, об'єктів транспорту, низки банківських установ, телекомунікаційних компаній. Вірус атакував і Кабінет міністрів України.
