Після проведення триденного вікіфлешмобу - марафону написання статей у Вікіпедії з нагоди річниці її заснування, в українському розділі інтернет-енциклопедії стало на тисячу статтей більше.

Про це повідомила прес-секретар, член правління ГО "Вікімедіа Україна" Олена Захарян, передає Телекритика

Впродовж вікімарафону в українській Вікіпедії створено понад 1000 статей, зареєструвалося близько 1000 нових користувачів. Станом на 1 лютого українська Вікіпедія налічує 616 197 статей.

Свій 15-й День народження в січні відсвяткувала англійська (перша) Вікіпедія, 8-й день народження - кримськотатарська. 30 січня 12 років виповнилося української Вікіпедії.

Вікімарафони пройшли в Києві, Львові, Харкові, Чернігові та Херсоні.

Редактори Вікіпедії по всій Україні відзначили потрійне свято написанням статей в енциклопедію і вікімарафонамі.
