Вибори президента Молдови визнані такими, що відбулися, оскільки явка виборців перевищила третину.

За даними Центрвиборчкому країни, на президентських виборах вже проголосували 1 000 024 особи, що становить 34,79% від загального числа виборців, пише Новое время

Нагадаємо, що 30 жовтня в Молдові вперше з 1996 року обирають президента країни шляхом всенародного голосування. На посаду президента Молдови претендують 9 кандидатів – 6 представників політичних партій і 3 незалежні кандидати. Фаворитами вважаються голова Партії соціалістів Ігор Додон і лідер партії Дія і солідарність Майя Санду.

Раніше повідомлялось, що в ході президентських виборів в Молдові спостерігачі місцевої правозахисної організації PROMO-LEX повідомили про перші порушення на окремих виборчих дільницях в місті Оргеєв, що в 40 км від Кишинева.
