Понад 200 000 користувачів платять Шпрингеру від 5 до 15 евро на місяць за доступ до їхніх сервісів. Звичку людей до того, що все доступне в інтернеті безкоштовно, Дьопфнер відверто називає одним із ворогів журналістики. "Валюта інтернету - не гроші, а паблісіті.
