В Варшаве десятки тысяч людей приняли участие в акции протеста Комитета защиты демократии и ведущих оппозиционных партий - Гражданской платформы, Современной партии и Польской крестьянской партии, сообщает в субботу, 7 мая, Польское радио.

Акция проходит под лозунгом "Мы есть и будем в Европе". Как заявил лидер Комитета защиты демократии Матеуш Кийовський, марш организован для того, чтобы проявить единство в отношении важнейших ценностей, которые, по его словам, подвергает сомнению правящая партия Право и справедливость. В акции принял участие экс-президент Польши Бронислав Коморовский.

"Мы не согласны на железный занавес, не согласны с отторжением от Европы. Мы есть и мы будем в Европе", - заявил бывший министр иностранных дел Гжегож Схетына.

В марше принял участие и бывший президент Польши Бронислав Коморовский.

"Мы здесь, чтобы бороться за польскую свободу, польскую демократию и польское право нормально функционировать в Европейском союзе", - заявил он.

Участники марша несли флаги Польши, Европейского союза и Комитета охраны демократии.

В ответ на манифестацию либералов, националисты и представители радикальных католиков организовали свой марш под лозунгом "Отваги, Польша". Участники акции заявили, что они против диктата Европейского Союза в Польше, обязывающего принимать беженцев и против деятельности Комитета защиты демократии.
