Прокуратура Турции предъявила обвинение двум журналистам газеты за перепечатку карикатуры из французского журнала Charlie Hebdo. Об этом сообщается Газета.ru.

«Карикатуры, опубликованные в газете публично унижают религиозные ценности», — говорится в заявлении прокуратуры Стамбула.

В обвинительном заключении для журналистов требуют наказания в виде 4,5 лет лишения свободы.

Светская газета Cumhuriyet стала одним из пяти изданий, напечатавших выдержки из карикатурического журнала Charlie Hebdo после теракта 7 января в Париже, чтобы продемонстрировать свою солидарность с французскими журналистами.
