Короткометражный фильм шведского режиссера Дэвида Сандберга под названием Kung Fury опубликовали на видеосервисе YouTube. Средства на съемки картины собирались с помощью краудфандинга на платформе Kickstarter. Создателям удалось получить от пользователей сети около 630 тысяч долларов.

Хронометраж ленты — 31 минута. Действие фильма разворачивается в середине 1980-х годов в Майами. Главный герой, полицейский Кунг Фьюри, должен сразиться с переместившимся во времени Адольфом Гитлером. Он тоже совершает путешествие во времени, но нечаянно попадает в доисторический период. «В боевике есть нацисты, динозавры, викинги и дрянные шуточки», — следует из аннотации к картине.

Саундтрек к ленте записал американский актер и певец Дэвид Хассельхофф, наиболее известный по ролям в телесериалах «Рыцарь дорог» и «Спасатели Малибу».

Краудфандинговый проект запустили в декабре 2013 года. Как отмечает The Hollywood Reporter, за первые 24 часа удалось собрать 200 тысяч долларов. Внимание к фильму привлек двухминутный тизер-трейлер, получивший более 10 миллионов просмотров на YouTube.
