Депардье, получивший в прошлом году российское гражданство, намерен организовать производство биоводки, сообщает "Итар-Тасс". Об этом он рассказал журналистам во время визита в Саратов.

По словам артиста, сорокаградусный напиток будет производиться на основе экологически чистых продуктов и воды из горных родников, за качеством продукта будут тщательно следить.

"Это будет мой первый опыт выпуска крепких алкогольных напитков, и, я надеюсь, он будет удачным. Тем не менее я хотел бы, чтобы как можно больше людей предпочитало из алкогольных напитков вино. Это - напиток-праздник", - отметил он.

Помимо основной актерской деятельности Депардье известен как ценитель изысканной кухни, винодел и ресторатор. В его планах - открытие в России производства аксессуаров для кухни, а также сети ресторанов "Жерар". "Там будет простая еда и уютная атмосфера", - пообещал он.

В Саратове Депардье презентовал именной кухонный гарнитур, в дизайне которого он принимал участие.

Церемония вручения Жерару Депардье российского паспорта прошла в январе 2013 года. В феврале того же года он получил прописку в столице Мордовии - Саранске. Как признался сам актер, в России он проводит все больше времени. Его последнее по времени пребывание в стране растянулось более чем на два месяца.
