Роскомнадзор попросил петербургское издание «Агентство бизнес новостей» снять с сайта изображение обложки французского сатирического журнала Charlie Hebdo, на которой изображена карикатура на пророка Мухаммеда.

В центральном аппарате ведомства, сказано на сайте издания, расценили такие карикатуры как нарушение закона об экстремизме. В случае отказа от снятия изображения, подчеркнул представитель Роскомнадзора, ведомство вынесет СМИ предупреждение и передаст материалы в суд для возбуждения уголовного дела.

После звонка из ведомства сотрудники редакции убрали изображение с сайта.

Накануне об угрозах уголовного преследования заявили пермские журналисты. Директор «Ньюс Медиа», владеющий порталом «Новости Перми», и главный редактор издания 59.ru информационно-аналитическому центру «Сова» о том, что сотрудник надзорного ведомства предупредил издания о запрете на размещение карикатур и ссылок на материл других СМИ с оправданием карикатур французского еженедельника.
