По данным ЦИК, в первом туре выборов президента Монголии, которые прошли вчера, 26 июня, однозначного победителя не определили. Об этом сообщает Deutsche Welle.

Поэтому впервые в истории страны состоится второй тур между двумя лидерами голосования.

Претендентами на должность является бывшая звезда боевых искусств, экс-министр транспорта Халтмаагийн Баттулга, представляющий оппозиционную Демократическую партию.

Местные СМИ называют его одним из самых богатых людей страны. По данным ЦИК Мо, он набрал больше оппонента, однако не абсолютное большинство голосов.

Его противник, представитель правящей в стране Народной партии, экс-вице-премьер-министр Миеегомбин Энхболд, который сейчас председательствует в парламенте.
