Компания KFC вместе с Ant Financial (входит в Alibaba Group) ввела в одном из китайских ресторанов технологию оплаты с помощью идентификации по лицу, пишет Inc. Для оплаты продукта клиенту необходимо указать номер телефона, привязанного к Alipay, и улыбнуться перед терминалом.

Сейчас сервис начал применяться в ресторане в городе Гуанчжоу. Помимо сканирования лица, дополнительной мерой безопасности служит возможность проверки номера телефона.

Впервые технология распознавания лиц от Ant Financial была представлена в 2015 г.

Платежный сервис Alipay заработал в России в июле. В Москве Alipay начали принимать в ЦУМе, а в Санкт-Петербурге – в ДЛТ. Системой может воспользоваться клиент, у которого есть карта, выпущенная в Китае, чей номер привязан к мобильному приложению.
