Згідно з нововведенням, організаторів несанкціонованих демонстрацій будуть штрафувати на суму до 600 тисяч євро. Зйомка незаконних акцій буде каратися штрафом в 30 тисяч євро, а прояв неповаги до співробітників поліції обійдеться демонстрантам в 600 євро. Крім того, іспанцям заборонили виходити на мітинги кількістю більше однієї тисячі осіб.

Втім, місцеві громадські активісти та правозахисники знайшли витончений вихід з цієї ситуації. Вони зняли ходу, в якій взяли участь більше тисячі осіб, на спеціальну камеру, а потім спроектували це зображення на будівлю мадридського парламенту. Таким чином, віртуальні учасники мітингу йшли центральною вулицею міста, тримаючи в руках протестні плакати.

"Голограма проектувалася на напівпрозору поверхню. Оптичний ефект стався аналогічний тому, що відбувається, коли людина дивиться на себе в дзеркало. Ваше око як би подвоює відстань, в результаті чого плоске зображення стає тривимірним", - розповів один з організаторів акції Hologramas para la Libertad ("Голограми за свободу") Хав'єр Урбан.

В результаті акції жодну особу не затримали.
