Майже для усіх імен були вказані домашня адреса, дата народження, cтать, релігійні погляди і інші дані. Уся база даних займала 1,1 терабайт.

UpGuard виявила сховище на сервері Amazon, який орендувала компанія-підрядник Республіканської партії Deep Root Analytics. Фахівці з безпеки знайшли дані 12 червня. Щоб викачати усю базу даних було необхідно два дні.

Після того, як уся інформація була викачана, UpGuard звернулася в Deep Root Analytics. Зараз доступ до даних закритий.

Deep Root Analytics підтвердила, що доступ до їхніх даних міг отримати хто завгодно. За словами співзасновника компанії Олексія Лондри, вона "бере на себе усю відповідальність".
