Росіяни в Естонії матимуть свій «не пропагандистський» телеканал.

Про це повідомляє фінляндська Yle, посилаючись на члена правління Естонського національного телерадіомовлення (ERR) Айнара Рууссаара,передає Media Sapiens

Восени в Естонії розпочне мовлення першій російськомовний телеканал ЕТV+.

«Звичайно, канал необхідно було відкривати років двадцять тому, але добре, що політичне рішення створити це ЗМІ все ж таки ухвалили», - відзначає Рууссааар.

Він пояснив, що в Естонії занепокоєні тим фактом, що росіяни отримують інформацію з російських державних телеканалів.

Рууссаар наговорив, що новий телеканал ЕТV+ не буде пропагандистським.

ЕТV+ не є пілотним проектом, а створюється на постійній основі. На створення російськомовного каналу для жителів Естонії планується виділяти від 2 до 2,5 мільйонів євро на рік.

Телеканал зосередиться на місцевих новинах та житті російськомовної аудиторії.

«Це дуже цікавий та амбіційний проект, - говорить директор шведськомовної редакції телерадіокомпанії Yle Маріт Аф Боркестен, - амбіційний, тому що сьогодні більша частина аудиторії пішла в Інтернет».
