В кинофестивале Sci-Fi London участвовал фильм, впервые в истории снятый по сценарию, который написал искусственный интеллект, сообщает CUT.
 
 
Режиссером короткометражки, которая получила название Sunspring, выступил Оскар Шарп. Скрипт («высокоуровневый язык сценариев») для ленты был сгенерирован рекуррентной LSTM-сетью, авторы которой назвали ее «Бенджамин».
 
Программа изучила несколько десятков научно-фантастических сценариев 80-90-х годов. И на основе этой информации сгенерировала уникальный текст.
 
На разработку фильма ушло около года. Сначала программа научилась прослеживать последовательность букв, затем поняла логику в последовательности слов и предложений. После этого она стала способна генерировать тексты. Единственное, что не удалось программе – придумывать имена персонажам, поэтому в картине все они именуются одной буквой: H, H2 и C. 
 
Картина была создана в рамках секции «Сними фильм за 48 часов» кинофеста Sci-Fi London и попала в десятку среди сотен фильмов конкурсной программы.
