Компания Uber запустила рекламу своего сервиса совместных поездок UberPOOL в пробках с помощью дронов, сообщает Technology Review. Реклама была замечена на дорогах столицы Мексики, Мехико. На баннерах, в частности, написано следующее: «Едешь на своей машине? Именно поэтому ты не доедешь на экскурсию на вулканы». Таким образом водителей мотивируют пользоваться совместными поездками. Летом проходила подобная рекламная кампания, тогда на дорогах Мехико был замечен баннер «Город предназначен для тебя, а не для 5,5 миллионов автомобилей». Усилия Uber связаны с продвижением своего бизнеса в Центральной и Латинской Америке
Uber функционирует в 65 городах Латинской Америки, и в следующем году планирует удвоить эту цифру. Компания вышла на этот рынок в прошлом году, количество поездок с помощью сервиса в августе достигло показателя в 45 миллионов человек.
