Facebook може з 2018 року бути заблокованим у Росії, якщо не виконає закон про локалізацію персональних даних. Про це журналістам повідомив глава Роскомнадзора Олександр Жаров, передає ТСН

У відомстві заявили про те, що популярна соцмережа не дотримується російського закону про персональні дані.

«Закон обов'язковий для всіх. У будь-якому випадку ми або доб'ємося того, щоб закон був виконаний, або компанія припинить працювати на території Російської Федерації, як, на жаль, сталося з Linkedin. Тут винятків немає », - наводить "Інтерфакс" цитату Жарова.

За його словами, превірку Facebook планують провести в 2018 році. У Роскомнагляді кажуть, що Facebook- «неунікальний сервіс, є й інші соціальні мережі».

Відзначимо, що за законом «Про персональні дані» особисті дані російських громадян повинні зберігатися на території країни. У Facebook розміщувати свої сервери у Росії відмовлялися.

Напередодні засновник Facebook Марк Цукерберг заявив про втручання РФ у вибори в США.
