У Раді Федерації розробили законопроект "Про протидію реабілітації злочинів сталінського тоталітарного режиму (сталінізму)"

Автором проекту виступив зампред конституційного комітету Костянтин Добринін. Проект федерального закону вже готовий для внесення до Держдуми.

На думку Добриніна, необхідно забезпечити законодавчу базу для випадків спроб фальсифікації історичних фактів, що відносяться до епохи сталінізму. Добринін також підкреслив, що на даному етапі цієї бази просто не існує.

"У цих умовах існує і широко пропагується серед населення неприпустиме твердження про виправдання масового державного терору і його корисності для державного будівництва в певний історичний період", - зазначив Добринін.

У законопроекті встановлено правові основи, які дозволяють запобігти реабілітації та заперечення злочинів сталінської епох. Крім того, проектом передбачається заборона на увічнення пам'яті осіб, які були причетні до скоєння злочинів за часів режиму. Також Добринін пропонує визнавати екстремістськими матеріали, в яких міститься виправдання репресій і депортацій.
