У російського президента Володимира Путіна новий «фаворит». Як передає  Bloomberg, мова йде про керівника Міністерства економічного розвитку Росії Максима Орєшкіна, який очолювати дане відомство почав наприкінці минулого року. Джерела зазначають, що у міністра, якого зовсім нескладно помітити поруч з главою Кремля на міжнародних зустрічах, набагато більше політичної ваги, ніж у його попередників. 

Підтверджуючи свої дані, журналісти агентства зазначили, що саме завдяки Орєшкіну стали відомими подробиці першої зустрічі Володимира Путіна і глави Білого дому Дональда Трампа на саміті G20 в Гамбурзі. Крім того, саме чинний головний економіст РФ у кінці минулого місяця замінив Антона Силуанова, міністра фінансів і став очолювати представництво Росії у Міжнародному банку реконструкції та розвитку і багатосторонньою агентстві по гарантіях інвестицій.

За сприяння Орєшкіна, додало агентство, стало можливим створення неформальної групи для покращення роботи економічного блоку російського уряду. Вона складається, зокрема, з Катерини Власової з Citigroup, Зої Вікторової з PricewaterhouseCoopers, а також Юлії Урожаевої з McKinsey.
