Влада Каталонії оголосила про початок кампанії за незалежність від Іспанії, незважаючи на різку критику з боку Мадрида.

Про початок кампанії було оголошено 14 вересня під час кориди в місті Таррагона, повідомляє DW.

Раніше про приєднання до кампанії оголосив мер Барселони. Він наголосив, що референдум щодо незалежності відбудеться й у найбільшому каталонському місті.

Нагадаємо, 7 вересня парламент іспанського автономного співтовариства Каталонія схвалив проведення референдуму про незалежність, незважаючи на протест офіційного Мадрида.

В цей же день Конституційний суд Іспанії провів надзвичайне засідання, на якомупризупинив дію законопроекту про проведення референдуму про незалежність Каталонії.

Пізніше прокуратура Іспанії наказала поліції конфіскувати урни для голосування, виборчі листівки та інші предмети, які можуть бути використані на референдумі про незалежність Каталонії.

Крім того, прокуратура Іспанії проводить розслідування відносно 712 мерів через підготовку референдуму.
