У Білорусі посилюється державне регулювання інтернету. Згідно з новими змінами до законодавства інформаційні онлайн-ресурси прирівнюються до ЗМІ.

Як повідомляє dw.de, відповідні поправки були прийняті сьогодні, 17 грудня, відразу в двох читаннях.

Під час свого виступу перед Палатою представників білоруського парламенту, міністр інформації Лілія Ананіч сказала, що у Білорусі зараз понад 5 мільйонів користувачів, а віртуальне середовище – найпотужніший чинник впливу на населення. На думку політика, мережі необхідне «адекватне державне регулювання».

Згідно зі змінами, у Білорусі має бути створений Державний реєстр розповсюджувачів інформації. До нього мають бути внесені всі інформаційні інтернет-ресурси.

Якщо онлайн-медіа отримає попередження щодо порушення закону про ЗМІ, його можуть виключити з реєстру та накласти заборону на поширення інформації.

Редактор популярного білоруського опозиційного сайту «Хартия’97» Наталія Радіна висловила переконання, що Міністерство інформації Білорусі робить все можливе, аби придушити свободу слова в країні.

«Це політика знищення вільних медіа, яка триває останні 20 років. Спочатку режим знищив незалежне телебачення, потім радіо і газети, а зараз взялися за інтернет», - каже вона.

Наталія Радіна, разом з тим, заявила, що сайт «Хартия’97» працюватиме у попередньому режимі, за кордоном, оскільки всередині Білорусі це неможливо.
