В начале апреля 16-летний Уилкерсон сделал пост в Twitter сети фаст-фуда Wendy's, спросив сколько ретвитов ему нужно собрать, чтобы в течение года есть наггетсы бесплатно. Компания ответила: "18 миллионов".

После этого Уилкерсон опубликовал скриншот переписки с Wendy's и написал: "Помогите, пожалуйста. Парню нужны его наггетсы".

До вторника, 9 мая, его твит перепостили 3 миллиона 431 тысячу раз. Твит, в частности, перепостили крупные компании: такие как Apple Music, Microsoft, Amazon и Google.

Другие компании ответили подростку своими предложениями, в том числе United Airlines, которая заявила, что отправит его в ресторан Wendy's в любом из доступных городов.
