Кандидат в президенти США від республіканців Дональд Трамп не став відмовлятися від зробленої раніше на цьому тижні заяви, згідно з якою творцем терористичного угрупування ІДІЛ є американський президент Барак Обама.

За повідомленням Сі-Ен-Ен, в ході виступу по радіо Трамп вступив в суперечку з ведучим з цього питання, пише Українська правда

Радіоведучий Х'ю Хьюітт припустив, що республіканець насправді хотів сказати, що дії Обами на світовій арені "створили вакуум", який заповнили терористи з ІДІЛ.

Але Трамп не погодився з таким трактуванням.

"Ні, я хотів сказати, що він - саме засновник ІДІЛ. Це точно. Він, так би мовити, заслуговує на звання найціннішого гравця (в цій історії). Так само як і вона (кандидат в президенти від демократів, екс-держсекретар США Хілларі Клінтон )", - заявив Трамп.

Зі свого боку, Клінтон розкритикувала ці висловлювання. В "Твіттері" вона написала: "Ні, Барак Обама не заснував ІДІЛ". При цьому вона додала, що коментарі її суперника демонструють, що він не володіє якостями, необхідними для того, щоб бути верховним головнокомандувачем армії США.
