Екс-мер Лондона Борис Джонсон відмовився висувати себе на посаду наступного прем'єр-міністра Великої Британії
 

Про це Джонсон заявив під час своєї промови у Лондоні, повідомляє Еспресо.

"Порадившись з колегами та беручи до уваги обставини у парламенті, я дійшов висновку, що не можу бути людиною, яка претендує на посаду прем'єра", - наголосив він, пояснюючи свою позицію у цьому питанні.

Раніше повідомлялося, що глава МВС Великої Британії Тереза Мей оголосила про своє висунення на пост лідера Консервативної партії і, відповідно, прем'єр-міністра країни. Тим часом головним її суперником вважали саме Джонсона.

Також у Британії призначили керівника новоствореного урядового департаменту з питання виходу країни з Євросоюзу - ним став заступник глави МВС Олівер Робінс.
