Російський канал RT (Russia Today) перервав інтернет-мовлення американського телеканалу C-Span.

У четвер о пів на третю дня за місцевим часом в онлайнову трансляцію телеканалом C-Span засідання нижньої палати американського Конгресу, присвяченого роботі Комісії з цінних паперів і бірж, раптово вклинився канал Russia Today.

Накладка сталася під час виступу депутата Максін Уотерс за кілька секунд до того, як вона згадала в своєму виступі Дональда Трампа в контексті його відносин з Росією.

За час останньої президентської кампанії в США мільйони американців дізналися з американської преси, що RT - пропагандистський рупор Кремля, і тому зрив планової трансляції, який тривав близько десяти хвилин, був сприйнятий деякими коментаторами як диверсія.

Однак в заяві, поширеній C-Span, представники каналу списали все на технічну помилку, зазначивши, що звичайна телетрансляція засідання в Палаті представників пройшла абсолютно гладко.

"Ми здійснюємо моніторинг передач RT на предмет екстрених новин, і найбільш імовірно, що в маршрутизації інтернет-сигналу стався збій", - йдеться в заяві.

Подібного роду інцидентів в онлайнових трансляціях C-Span раніше не було. Компанія продовжує внутрішнє розслідування.
