Американські спецслужби не займаються перехопленням телефонних розмов президента Франції Франсуа Олланда. Про це заявив офіційний представник Ради національної безпеки Білого дому Нед Прайс в поширеній у вівторок ввечері письмовій заяві, передає Радіо Свобода.
«Розвідка США не робить і не буде робити своєю мішенню контакти президента Олланда», – сказав Прайс.
Він також наголосив, що США «тісно співпрацюють з Францією з усіх питань, що викликають занепокоєння в світі». США вважають Францію своїм «незамінним партнером», запевнив офіційний представник Ради нацбезпеки Білого дому.
У вівторок сайт Mediapart з посиланням на дані WikiLeaks повідомив про те, що Агентство національної безпеки США шпигувало за трьома президентами Франції Жаком Шираком, Ніколя Саркозі та Франсуа Олландом. Повідомлялося, що американська розвідка здійснювала стеження за французькими президентами у період з 2006-го до 2012 року, володіла секретними даними про зміст розмов посадовців Єлисейського палацу і мала номери їхніх мобільних телефонів.
Помічник президента Франції Франсуа Олланда повідомив, що у середу запланована нарада з питань національної безпеки для обговорення інформації, що була поширена WikiLeaks.
