На виборах президента Росії Ксенія Собчак стане кандидатом від партії "Громадянська ініціатива".

Про це повідомляє ВВС з посиланням на спільну заяву Собчак та лідера "Громадянської ініціативи" Андрія Нечаєва.

"Консультації почалися місяць тому. Ми зустрічалися з різними партіями демократичного спрямування, кілька днів тому закликали до об'єднання. Я рада повідомити, що піду на вибори як кандидат від партії "Громадянська ініціатива", якщо з'їзд затвердить мою кандидатуру", - підкреслила Собчак.

"Ми як і раніше закликаємо до об'єднання всі демократичні сили. Тільки об'єднавшись, забувши про розбіжності та незадоволені амбіції, ми можемо перемогти", - йдеться у заяві.

Як відомо, 18 жовтня 2017 року російська журналістка і телеведуча Ксенія Собчак оголосила про своє рішення брати участь у виборахпрезидента Росії.
