Голова Нацбанку Яків Смолій написав заяву про відставку після напруженої розмови з президентом Володимиром Зеленським.

Про це з посиланням на трьох свідків "конфлікту" на засіданні Нацради реформ, яку очолює Міхеіл Саакашвілі, пише LIGA.net.

За словами співрозмовників видання, президенту не сподобалися слабкі результати держпрограми дешевих кредитів "5-7-9", і він у різкій формі висловив претензії Смолію, що банки-учасники видають мало кредитів.

"5-7-9 - це стара претензія. Зеленський висловлював її ще в січні: висока ставка, через яку НБУ не дає хід кредитами. І загалом, президент перебуває в іншій економічній парадигмі: гроші - кров економіки, їх потрібно більше; сушити економіку - не можна; курс - трохи опустити тощо. А Смолій зі своїм таргетуванням інфляції під час кризи - це так собі історія", - заявили у керівництві "Слуги народу".

Нагадаємо, що голова правління Національного банку України Яків Смолій написав заяву про звільнення та передав її на розгляд президенту України. Він заявив, що вирішив залишити посаду через "систематичний політичний тиск".

Члени правління Національного банку заявили, що розділяють перестороги Якова Смолія щодо систематичного політичного тиску та поважають його рішення піти.
