Министр внутренних дел Италии и по совместительству первый вице-премьер этой страны Маттео Сальвини в ходе визита в Россию заявил, что украинские власти разжигают «религиозную войну». Как передает PRпортал, об этом пишет Der Standard. При этом он предупредил, что у религиозных войн всегда плохой конец. «Если политическое руководство пытается подчинить церковь, это не несет ничего хорошего», - говорит он.

Более того, Сальвини отметил, что Италия не поддержит продление экономических санкций Европейского союза против России.

Итальянский вице-премьер считает, что Россия на законных основаниях аннексировала украинский Крым, а Революцию Достоинства в Украине он называет «фальшивой». Маттео Сальвини ранее заявлял, что хотел бы видеть президента РФ Владимира Путина в кресле премьер-министра Италии.
