Екс-ректор Петро Мельник прийшов сьогодні у Верховну Раду.

Він поспілкувався із журналістами у кулуарах парламенту, представивши себе як екс-депутата, повідомляє INSIDER

Відповідаючи на запитання, чому він заявився у парламенті, Мельник сказав, що має посвідчення депутата попередніх скликань, тому має право заходити у будівлю, проте не у сесійну залу.

Він ухилився він прямої відповіді, чи буде повертатися у політику, наприклад, беручи участь у місцевих виборах. "А навіщо? Якщо такі люди, як я не потрібні Україні", - сказав він.

Також Мельник сказав, що не прагне повернутися на посаду ректора податкової академії. "Навіщо? Ви запитайте у людей, університет же процвітає без мене, то нехай собі працюють", - сказав Мельник.

Мельник заявив, що знайде чим зайнятися, "було б здоров'я". Коментуючи намір Генпрокуратури оскаржити вирок по його справі, Мельник заявив, що не знає нічого про апеляцію прокуратури.

"Я не знаю, коли буде розгляд апеляції. Це визначає суд. Очевидно, воно ще не призначено", - сказав він.

У руках Мельника було декілька копій рішень суду по своїй справі, які він роздав журналістам. "На землі, українській", - сказав він, відповідаючи на питання, де зараз проживає.
