Мартін Шульц, який представляє Соціал-демократичну партію Німеччини (СДПН), став лідером серед кандидатів на пост канцлера Німеччини. Про це свідчать результати опитування, проведеного в четвер, 2 лютого, для німецького телеканалу ARD.

50% респондентів заявили, що проголосували б за Шульца. У свою чергу, 34% опитаних хотіли б знову бачити на цій посаді його головну суперницю - Ангелу Меркель.

Крім того, більшість респондентів підтримують СДПН і вважають, що саме ця партія має домогтися більшості в уряді.

Вибори до Бундестагу (нижню палату парламенту Німеччини) відбудуться 24 вересня, після чого буде сформовано уряд і обрано канцлера Німеччини.
