Британский премьер-министр Дэвид Кэмерон в пятницу поздравил сторонников сохранения единства Великобритании с победой на прошедшем в Шотландии референдуме о независимости.

По последним данным, охватывающим 31 из 32 областей, против объявления независимости проголосовали 55,4% избирателей, тогда как 44,6% высказались «за».

Аналитики британской телерадиовещательной корпорации Би-би-си считают, что на референдуме противники отделения победят с перевесом в 10%.

По их оценкам, за независимость Шотландии проголосуют около 45% участников референдума, в то время как против – 55%.

Пока сторонники отделения от Великобритании победили только в четырех из 32 областей региона: Глазго, Северный Ланаркшир, Западный Дамбартоншир и Данди, в остальных верх одерживают приверженцы единства.

Окончательные результаты подсчета голосов, как ожидается, будут объявлены позднее в пятницу.
