Шеф-редактор та директор з контенту британської газети Telegraph Джейсон Сейкен (Jason Seiken) покидає редакцію.
 
 

Джейсон Сейкен звільняється через два роки після того, як прийшов у газету з американського телеканалу PBS,пише Media Sapiens

«Я пишаюся тим, що Telegraph став цифровим лідером, і я задоволений тим, що уTelegraph таке велике зростання цифрової аудиторії», - написав Сейкен у заяві, поширеній між працівниками редакції сьогодні вранці.

За його словами, компанія має велике майбутнє і розростатиметься. «Я бажаю всім своїм колегам всього найкращого у майбутньому», - додав він.

Директор Telegraph Media Мердок МакЛіннан (Murdoch MacLennan) сказав, що компанія цілком розуміє це «прикре» рішення шеф-редактора скористатися новими можливостями після того, як він виконав свою роботу у редакції їхньої газети.

«Він був колегою, якого високо цінували, який зробив багато для визначення майбутньої стратегії ТelegraphMediaGroup», - сказав МакЛіннан.

Сейкена найняли у вересні 2013 року з метою переглянути редакційну стратегію видання.

Нинішнє звільнення відбулося відразу після того, як видання покинула низка працівників, у тому числі колишній редактор Тоні Галагер (Tony Gallagher).
