Эта же группировка хакеров в 2016 году взломала аккаунт CEO Twitter и страницу гендиректора Google

Сайт организации WikiLeaks был взломан хакерами – вместо привычной главной страницы пользователи видели сообщение группировки OurMine. О взломе написали The Guardian и The Verge.

В нем говорилось, что WikiLeaks "бросила вызов" хакерам, предложив попробовать взломать сайт. Скриншот страницы, открывавшейся у пользователей при попытке зайти на сайт, также разместила в Twitter сотрудник британского издания Клэр Фиппс.

Как уточняет The Guardian, сообщение о взломе не было размещено на самом сайте WikiLeaks: пользователей перенаправляло с ресурса на стороннюю страницу, созданную хакерами.

Скорее всего, пишет газета, хакеры атаковали не серверы WikiLeaks, а один или несколько DNS-серверов. В ответ на запросы от компьютеров пользователей об IP-адресе ресурса https://wikileaks.org/ DNS-сервер присылал IP-адрес другой страницы с сообщением о взломе сайта.

The Verge напоминает, что эта же группировка в 2016 году взломала аккаунт CEO Twitter Джека Дорси, а также страницу гендиректора Google Сундара Пичаи на сервисе Quora. Также эти хакеры были причастны ко взлому сайтов Variety и BuzzFeed, отмечает газета.

WikiLeaks ответила в Twitter на сообщение The Guardian о взломе, написав, что "сервера WikiLeaks не были взломаны"

По состоянию на 13:20 по Киеву сайт WikiLeaks был доступен и отображал контент организации.
